About Naadi Jyotish
At the heart of Naadi Astrology lies a rich tradition traced back to Lord Shiva, with Agastiya Rishi being among the blessed sages endowed with the ability to foresee individuals’ futures. What Agastiya Rishi envisioned, he inscribed onto palm leaves in the ancient Tamil script, preserving timeless wisdom.
Naadi Jyotish, also known as Naadi Astrology, is a profound ancient practice rooted in the palm-leaf manuscripts dictated by revered sages of yore. These manuscripts, scattered across Tamil Nadu and collectively known as Naadi, hold predictions for countless individuals’ lives. The term “Naadi” itself, derived from Tamil, translates to “To Seek,” reflecting the quest for insight into destiny. Dating back around 2000 years, these manuscripts were meticulously collected, collated, and classified. Among the various Naadi collections are Agasthya Naadi, Sukha Naadi, Brahma Naadi, and Kaushika Naadi, each holding unique insights. However, the ability to decipher and interpret these ancient texts is a rare skill possessed by only a select few.
